Gary Lineker believes Pedro may have produced “something special” to help Chelsea clinch the Premier League title.
Antonio Conte’s team beat Everton 3-0 on Sunday afternoon at Goodison Park to open up a seven-point lead on second-placed Tottenham in the table.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will host their north London rivals Arsenal later on Sunday, hoping to keep the pressure on their title rivals.
During the match on Merseyside, Pedro scored a stunning long-range effort to open the scoring in the second half before Gary Cahill scrambled home the second 11 minutes from time.
Substitute Willian then came off the bench to add a third which sent the away supporters into jubilation as chants of ‘are you watching Tottenham’ rang loud at Goodison Park.
Match of the Day presenter Lineker issued this response to the Pedro goal and Spurs’ title chances after those valuable three points collected by Chelsea.
Sometimes it takes something truly special to clinch a title. We may have just seen exactly that from Pedro. Stunning goal.

Over the course of the season, Pedro has played 38 games in all competitions, scoring 12 goals during those matches added with his 11 assists.
In the Premier League, he has found the back of the net on eight occasions from 30 league games.
The Spaniard will now be looking to help his team edge closer to the title, with four matches of the season remaining.
After this match, the league leaders will play relegation-threatened Middlesbrough on home soil before playing their final away match of the season against West Brom on May 12.
They will then finish the campaign with two home ties against Watford and already-relegated Sunderland as they will be hoping to have already clinched the title by then.
