Gary Neville names two Tottenham players who are not ‘at the level’ of Chelsea’s stars
Gary Neville believes Chelsea’s superior squad was the difference during the Blues’ win over Spurs.
Joao Pedro scored the only goal of the game as Chelsea beat Spurs 1-0 to move into the Premier League top six.
Spurs’ 3-0 win over Burnley on the opening day remains their only league victory on home soil this season.
The Lilywhites play FC Copenhagen and Man United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this week, with two stars needing to improve their performances according to Neville.

Gary Neville claims ‘Chelsea have a better squad’ than Spurs
As per the Metro, [3 November], former Man United defender Neville was not surprised by Chelsea beating Spurs due to the difference in the quality of their squads.
“Chelsea have a better squad and better players,” Neville said.
“Look at Tottenham’s players… Randal Kolo Muani, Xavi Simons and a few others haven’t settled in yet and don’t look like they’re at the level the Chelsea players are.

“Chelsea have a far better squad than Tottenham and they should have because they’ve spent far more money.”
Xavi Simons has had a tough start at Spurs, with the 22-year-old yet to score a goal for the club since his arrival from RB Leipzig.

Neville predicts Chelsea top four finish
Neville believes Chelsea’s squad will be able to finish the top four for a second consecutive season ahead of Spurs.
“The problem is the Premier League is so inconsistent this year,” Neville said.
“When you look at the league table, every team is so inconsistent except for Arsenal. The fact of the matter is Spurs are still in front of Chelsea.
“The Chelsea fans were celebrating in that far corner with the Chelsea players and the Tottenham players had left the pitch devastated after being booed off but it’s them who’s in front in the table.
“It’s been a bit of a mad start to the league this year. I think Chelsea will have enough to get into that top-four because I think it’s going to be a bit crazy all season.”
