Cummings joined the Light Blues on loan from Nottingham Forest in January, in a move which has the potential to be made permanent at the end of the season.

The player has scored five goals so far since moving to Ibrox, and has found starts difficult to come by because of the form of top goalscorer Alfredo Morelos.

Cummings originally moved to Nottingham Forest last season after spending four years at Hibernian, but he returned to England after failing to hold down a regular place at the Championship side.

It remains to be seen if Graeme Murty will decide to pick Cummings in the Old Firm derby, but he did himself a power of good with his performance against Falkirk.
