'Gerrard Must Be Over The Moon' - English pundit wowed by what he's seen from Rangers player
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard will be “over the moon” with Cedric Itten after the draw at Motherwell, according to Noel Whelan.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Aberdeen and Leeds United forward said that the 24-year-old “changed the game” and showed “a great attitude” at Fir Park.
Itten came off the bench to equalise for the Light Blues, as they continued their unbeaten start to the Scottish Premiership season with a 1-1 draw at Motherwell.

The summer signing has scored five goals in 23 appearances this term, having been used predominantly as an impact substitute.
Whelan claimed the striker’s attitude and will is testament to the backroom staff at Ibrox.
“He has shown a great attitude but we have see that from all of the squad players at Rangers,” he told Football Insider.

“It is testament to the manager and all of the staff around them. It is not easy to keep good players happy when they are not playing happy but they have done that all season. They have got no sulkers at that football club right now, and it helps you when you are winning games and doing well in Europe.
“It must be so pleasing for Steven Gerrard. They did not turn up in the first half at Motherwell but they were better in the second half. What you want as a manager is for your subs to impact the game, you want them to change the game and that is certainly what Itten did.
“It might be an important point for Rangers at the end of the season. When you have players like Itten, who can come on and change a game.
“Steven Gerrard must be over the moon because he has a really happy camp.”
