'Get rid now', 'Absolutely vile' - Leeds fans despair about one player despite win v QPR

Leeds United fans were not happy that their victory was made uncomfortable in the last minutes of the game against QPR because of Felix Wiedwald’s howler.

The Whites looked comfortable with a 2-0 lead with minutes to spare, as QPR had hardly put the team under pressure in the second-half.

Wiedwald then misjudged his position which allowed Paweł Wszołek to pull one back for QPR and give his side a fighting chance of earning something from this game.

However, Kemar Roofe who had scored both of Leeds’ opening two goals, grabbed his hat-trick with the last kick of the game.

Despite this Leeds United fans were not happy at the goalkeeper putting the three points in jeopardy and fumed on social media.

One fan simply said “Oh dear”, which was polite compared to other fans that were hailing taxis for the goalkeeper and begging their club to get rid.

Wiedwald has made 15 appearances across all competitions for the Whites this season, keeping seven clean sheets.
