Football Insider verdict
It will be interesting to see how youngsters like Hogarth continue to progress over the next three or four years. There have been more and more academy products making their way into the first-team and with Craig Mulholland’s new approach of getting the Under-20s to play against sides from across Europe, there’s a chance that there could be some really good youngsters chomping at the bit to get in the senior squad very soon. Hogarth has a long way to to go though and it would be a surprise to even see him sent out on loan soon given that he is only 17-years-old.
