‘God have mercy’, ‘No respect for his teammates’ – West Ham fans rip into Mohammed Kudus after display in 2-1 Tottenham win

West Ham United fans have ripped into Mohammed Kudus for his “lazy” display against Tottenham on Thursday evening (7 December).

David Moyes’ side rode the storm after a lacklustre first half to mount an impressive comeback against Ange Postecoglou’s side with Jarrod Bowen’s equaliser and James Ward-Prowse’s strike securing a 2-1 away win.

Kudus has wowed the crowds at the London Stadium since his £38million move this summer and has bagged nine goals and two assists in all competitions so far, but his outing in north London left many Hammers wanting more.

While he had his moments at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, he managed just one shot on target, 12 completed passes, was caught offside twice and lost possession 16 times – a forgettable display by his standards.

Hammers fans expect better from one of their star players and have taken to social media to slam his “lethargic” performance.

This supporter urged the Ghanaian to pass the ball more as his dribbling often sees him dispossessed.

One Hammer wanted Kudus to do some thinking about how often he got caught offside.

One supporter sought mercy for his “nasty” outing.

This Hammer was baffled about his directionless dribbling.

One fan was not impressed with his lack of pressing and leisurely passing which killed the Hammers’ tempo.

This fan berated his work rate against the Lilywhites.

This supporter was not keen on the 23-year-old’s position as it saw him lose possession too often.

This fan condemned Kudus for lacking respect for his teammates.
