‘Going to be huge’ – Sources: Update on Harry Wilson to Leeds
Leeds United could be pipped to Harry Wilson’s signature by a more attractive proposition this summer as he prepares to leave Fulham at the end of his contract.
Wilson has been firing on all cylinders for Fulham this season after he came close to joining Leeds last summer but saw a move fall through late on in the window.
The Wales winger has registered eight goals and four assists in 25 Premier League appearances across 2025-26 so far.
His Cottagers contract expires in the summer, but extension talks are on hold right now as he weighs up his options ahead of a potential departure.
Leeds have kept a close eye on Wilson’s impressive form this season, but as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, they may be beaten to his services due to the sheer amount of top clubs that are set to be interested in signing him.

Leeds to face fierce competition for Harry Wilson in the summer
Sources have told Football Insider that Bournemouth, Everton, Crystal Palace and West Ham are all also keeping tabs on Wilson as it stands.
The 28-year-old has also been tipped to make a surprise return to his old club, Liverpool, with Leeds now facing a real challenge to sign him up ahead of next season.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “There’s going to be huge demand for Harry Wilson come the summer transfer window, as it does look like he will become a free agent.
“No new deal has been agreed between Wilson and Fulham. Leeds thought they were going to sign him in the summer window before the deal fell through.
“Leeds would be in that market to try and sign Wilson come the summer, but I’m sure the player will have so many options.
“Will Leeds be able to compete with some of the probably big offers that other clubs can make? That remains to be seen, but he’s definitely somebody who’s still on their radar.
“It is going to be an intense race for Wilson’s signature this summer. It’s an open race and Harry Wilson, I’m sure, will have his pick if it comes to it in the summer that he leaves Fulham.”
Leeds will prioritise a new goalkeeper in the summer window
Leeds have done well to stave off the threat of relegation, but in between the sticks is where Daniel Farke knows he must improve if they are to become Premier League mainstays over the next few years.
Farke dropped Illan Meslier from his starting eleven towards the end of last season, and he is yet to be reinstated, with Lucas Perri and Karl Darlow sharing keeper duties so far this term.

Meslier looked set to leave Elland Road in January, but failed to find a move, while Perri was initially impressive but has now been dropped for Darlow, who is not seen as a long-term fix.
Football Insider recently revealed that Leeds will prioritise signing a new first-choice stopper in the summer, and so that could be sorted before any possible deal for Wilson happens.
