Rangers fans react to Jamie Murphy performance in win v Aberdeen

Rangers fans have taken to social media to praise Jamie Murphy’s debut for the Gers against Aberdeen at Ibrox on Wednesday night.
The on-loan signing from Brighton was one of three players to make their Light Blues debut at the start of the game, alongside Sean Goss and Russell Martin, with fellow new signing Jason Cummings off the bench in the 70th minute.
Murphy’s performance against the Dons impressed supporters, with one claiming that the 28-year-old was “impressing”, in a match that the Light Blues won 2-0.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Jamie Murphy’s debut for Rangers:

As for the game itself, the Light Blues took the lead in the 32nd minute, Daniel Candeias’s superb cross finding Alfredo Morelos who headed home at the back post to score his 13th goal of the season.
Morelos was later replaced by Jason Cummings, who played 20 minutes in his Gers debut before a James Tavernier sealed the points in the 80th minute.
The win puts the Gers back into second place in the Scottish Premiership table, level on points with the Dons but ahead on goal difference.
The Light Blues will look to maintain their winning run in their next league match, an away trip to bottom of the league Ross County.
