Granit Xhaka was blown away by an outrageous piece of skill by Alex Iwobi while in action for Nigeria on Saturday.
The Arsenal winger, who played a starring role in Nigeria’s 3-1 victory against Algeria in a World Cup qualifier, executed a perfect rainbow flick before coming away with the ball.
Arsenal midfielder Xhaka took to his personal Twitter account on Saturday to pay tribute to the imagination and audacity of his 20-year-old teammate.

Victor Moses scored Nigeria’s first and third goals either side of a rare John Obi Mikel strike, but the highlight of the match belonged to the Arsenal starlet.
Iwobi chose to ignore the advances of England to play international football for the country of his birth.

Despite being born in Lagos, he has lived in England most of his life and has been with the Gunners since the age of six.
He broke into the Arsenal team in the second half of last season and has emerged as a first-team regular for Arsene Wenger’s men.
Iwobi has made 14 appearances for the Gunners this campaign and, although he has yet to score, he has supplied three assists.
