Gravenberch, Zirkzee react to Gakpo’s ‘rooted’ post amid Liverpool to Bayern link
Cody Gakpo’s latest message on social media gained the attention of several Premier League stars amid links with moves away from Liverpool.
The Dutch winger has grown into a key role at Anfield, notching another 18 goals and six assists across all competitions last season as the Reds lifted the Premier League title in style.
Due to his performances on Merseyside, Bayern Munich have been linked with a move for Gakpo, though Football Insider understands that a new contract extension is far more likely for the 26-year-old.
He has been with the Reds since January 2023, having joined on a deal worth up to £45million from PSV Eindhoven [Sky Sports], and it would likely take a much higher fee if the club were to consider selling him.
Now, the player has taken to social media while enjoying some time away from Merseyside, and stars from Man United, Man City, and several of his teammates have reacted.

Arne Slot ready to take over the Premier League next season
Football Insider verdict
Arne Slot already lifted the Premier League title during his first season in England, but with early knockouts in the Champions League and FA Cup, supporters want much more next term.
Newcastle United also beat them to the Carabao Cup trophy at Wembley Stadium, and the manager is clearly hoping to avoid any repeats with his transfers so far.
Florian Wirtz‘s arrival has been greeted with excitement from home fans, as well as concern from rival fans, as the Reds look to win consecutive league titles, and that is without mentioning Jeremie Frimpong as well.

With more signings expected at Anfield, multiple exits will need to be sought by the hierarchy, and Ian Darke told Liverpool News 247 (20 June) that Darwin Nunez could be set for another Premier League move.
Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz have also been linked with Liverpool exits, with Kostas Tsimikas, Nathaniel Phillips, and Harvey Elliott expected to find new clubs ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Supporters will need to brace themselves for a much-changed starting lineup ahead of next season, with plenty of changes still to be made before Slot has adapted the squad to his playing style.
