Guglielmo Vicario shares injury update after devastating Tottenham blow
Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario took to Instagram to let fans know it’s “not long now” until he returns from his recent injury setback.
The 28-year-old has been out of action with an ankle injury since Spurs’ impressive 4-0 Premier League win over Man City back in November.
Vicario has missed Tottenham’s last 17 games across all competitions, coinciding with a remarkable loss of form for Ange Postecoglu’s side.
Spurs are currently placed down in 15th after their 22 Premier League games, failing to win in the league for six games, five of which have been defeats.
The North London club are currently going through the worst injury crisis in the Premier League, with eleven first-team players currently sidelined.

The Italian had been key for Spurs’ before the injury, starting all 15 of his games across all competitions, conceding 15 goals, and keeping four clean sheets in his 1350 minutes of action.
Spurs signed Antonin Kinsky from Czech side Slavia Prague in early January for a reported £12.5million to help provide competition for Vicario.
The ‘keeper appears to be working hard on making his return, taking to Instagram to reassure the fans that he’s on his way back, saying: “Not long now..”

Tottenham will doubtless be hoping they can put their poor Premier League form behind them as they host Ruud van Nistelrooy’s struggling Leicester City side on Sunday (January 26).
Postecoglu’s side will then welcome Swedish side Elfsborg for their final Europa League league phase game on Thursday (January 30).
