Hannibal Mejbri: Man United to accept permanent offer for star – sources
Man United will look to permanently offload Hannibal Mejbri this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed that the club are keen on a squad clearout and have deemed the 21-year-old surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
Hannibal moved on loan to La Liga side Sevilla in the January transfer window for the remainder of the season, but the Red Devils will accept a deal in the off-season if offers meet their price tag.
The Tunisia international’s move to the Spanish giants has an option to buy worth £15million, but they are reportedly not willing to make his switch permanent.
Hannibal Mejbri to be let go by Man United
This has opened the door for Erik ten Hag’s side to sanction a sale for the attacker, who joined United’s academy in 2019.
Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that Man United will have to sell players before making major new signings, meaning Hannibal is expected to be one of a swathe of departures from the Premier League giants.
He moved to Manchester from Ligue 1 side Monaco as a highly-rated youngster at age 16 for a reported fee of £9.3million.
Since moving to Sevilla on loan, Hannibal has made just three appearances in all competitions and has amassed just 38 minutes of action.

He made 10 appearances in all competitions for United in the first half of the season and notched one goal in their 3-1 league defeat against Brighton in September.
He made his senior debut for the club on the final day of the 2020-21 season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in a 2-1 win against Wolves.
