Caixinha delivers verdict on Rangers 26-year-old outcast
By Danny Wright
Pedro Caixinha has thrown Michael O’Halloran’s Rangers career into further doubt as it was confirmed he will not be taking part in Saturday’s clash with Partick.
According to Get The Battle Fever On, the 26-year-old failed to turn up to an Under-20 fixture against Hearts on Monday.
His days with the Glasgow club now appear to be numbered as he’s barely kicked a ball for the senior squad since he was sent off against Motherwell back in January.
Since then the winger has featured in just 51 minutes of league football.
Caixinha has remained tight-lipped on the whole affair and was quoted by the club’s official Twitter account as saying: “Michael O’Halloran is not part of the squad for the next match. What happens at home stays at home and I won’t say anymore.”

In the four games Caixinha has taken charge of, O’Halloran has been limited to playing just the second half of the 1-1 draw with Motherwell earlier this month.
O’Halloran has made 24 appearances for the Light Blues across all competitions this season.
The Rangers outcast has failed to score in this campaign but has provided five assists – four of them coming in the Scottish League Cup.
The ex-St Johnstone winger, who also had spells at Bolton and Tranmere, signed for Gers in Feburary 2016.
In other Rangers news, an agent has broke the silence on the Light Blues’ pursuit of this 14-goal attacker.
