Harry Gray to quit Leeds for Tottenham? Expert drops emphatic claim

Tottenham are unlikely to explore a deal to sign Leeds United gem Harry Gray despite his brother’s arrival during the summer transfer window.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Spurs and Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson, who remains very well-connected at both clubs, insisted that there is no prospect of an imminent deal being done for the younger of the Gray brothers.

Robinson explained that, at just 15 years old, he has yet to build any experience in the game, and is unlikely to make the move.

Gray is one of the most highly-regarded stars in Leeds’ academy and has followed in his brother’s footsteps to progress through the ranks.

Archie, now at Tottenham, made his first-team debut at 17 years old and established himself as a key player under Daniel Farke, and Harry has been tipped to do the same.

However, concerns have grown that he could look to follow his brother to Tottenham, with the North London club watching his progress closely.

Harry has followed a long line of successful footballers in his family, with his dad and grandad both having represented Scotland before his brother’s recent success.

Now, he is being tipped for a move to the Premier League despite his young age.

Another Leeds youngster, Finlay Gorman, moved to Man City for a fee of £5million last season from the same age group as Gray.

Robinson, however, has insisted there is no deal to be done between the two clubs, but highlighted the “fantastic” youngster’s potential.

Listen, he’s 15. There’s no deal to be done, really, he’s 15,” he told Football Insider.

Whether there was a deal to be done when Archie went or not, he’s a very similar player from a very, very good family with a great football background.

But we’re talking about a 15-year-old who’s yet to cut his teeth in the game.

Either way, he’s another fantastic footballer off the bread line of the Gray family.
