Harry Kane believes that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is one of the best managers in the world.
The 45-year-old has been with the north London club since 2014 and has gone from strength to strength in that time.
Spurs have emerged as one of the top sides in the Premier League under Pochettino and finished third-placed last season, but are eyeing the title this campaign and currently sit second.
The Argentinian began his managerial career with Spanish Club Espanyol and took charge of 160 games, before moving to England to enjoy a 60-game stint with Southampton.
He has since become a fan favourite at Spurs and his star striker Kane feels he is a top quality manager.
“We are going in the right direction, with one of the best managers in the world, a world-class squad and training centre and soon to have a world class stadium,” Kane told the Express.
Pochettino’s teams are well recognised for their defensive solidity, while also playing an attractive style of attacking football.
Spurs supporters have really taken well to the manager’s philosophy and they are now recognised as one of the top teams in the division.
Pochettino has assembled a strong squad with a young English core at the heart of it and they are expected to be an elite club over the next few seasons.
