Harry Kane has ‘last big chance’ to complete Tottenham transfer after new development – expert

Alan Hutton has claimed this summer will be the “last chance” for Harry Kane to get a “big” move away from Tottenham.

But, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs defender has “got a feeling” Kane will stay in London.

According to football.london (23 January), the 29-year-old’s aim is to succeed at Spurs, despite recent links with a move to Man United.

The striker is into the final 18 months of his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium and is believed to be open to discussing a new deal if the club were to open talks.

The England captain is said to be focused on getting the Lilywhites back into the top four and continuing to progress in the Champions League and FA Cup.

When asked if Kane will be able to win trophies with Tottenham, Hutton told Football Insider:It is a difficult one.

Everybody is talking about it at this moment in time. He is breaking records, whether it be goals in the North London derby, all time goalscorer, equalling Jimmy Greaves’ record which is an unbelievable feat.

I understand he is a Tottenham boy, he has come through the ranks and he wants to win trophies with Tottenham but it has been very difficult. Do I seem them doing it at this moment in time? Not really.

Tottenham

The problem Harry Kane has got is that if Spurs want to cash in, the summer is the last big chance to do it. It is probably the last chance saloon for a big payday off the back of him.

I have got a feeling he will stay. Something inside just thinks that he will stay. I think Conte will stay and try and continue to build.

In other news, an expert has suggested the real reason Tottenham have pulled off ‘massive’ Arnaut Danjuma deal.
