Harry Kane knows where he's playing next season after Tottenham reveal - pundit
Alan Hutton has tipped Harry Kane to remain a Tottenham player for the “foreseeable future” after Manchester City’s capture of Erling Haaland.
The former Spurs defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the possibility of Spurs getting an “astronomical fee” for the 28-year-old has gone.
Speaking to the Evening Standard (16 May), Kane revealed he is “looking forward” to working with Antonio Conte “next season”.
He went on to say the squad are “enjoying working” under the Italian and that it would be “great for the club” if he stays.
Hutton admitted the possibility of a big-money move for Kane seems slim and that the striker will know that.
Asked if he thinks Kane knows he will be staying at Spurs this summer, Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “I think so. I believe now that possibly that time’s moved on.

“There are probably only a couple of clubs in football that would have been able to afford that transfer fee. I think the time’s kind of gone. He’s only 28, 29, so he’s still got lots of time on his hands.
“But I think for that big, astronomical fee, I think it’s gone. Man City have solved their problem, so I believe he will be a Tottenham player for the foreseeable future.
“Obviously Conte will try to build an even better squad round about him. I think they’ve got some really good, key components in there. my site. They just have to add another couple to really get them back challenging for that top four year in, year out.”
Kane’s contract at Tottenham runs until the summer of 2024.
He has scored 26 goals in 49 appearances this season.
