Harry Kane posts brilliant Twitter joke after Tottenham penalty howler

Tottenham forward Harry Kane mocked himself amusingly on Twitter after his penalty blunder against Southampton.
Spurs ran out convincing 4-1 winners at St Mary’s in the Premier League clash, but the game will be remembered for an awful penalty miss from Kane.
The 23-year-old had the chance to put his side 3-1 up from the spot after Nathan Redmond was sent off for a last man challenge, but his attempt flew high over the crossbar.
He did manage to score in the game though and took his tally to 10 goals this season across all competitions.
Kane posted a hilarious message on Twitter following his penalty howler claiming it was worthy of the NFL.

“If there’s any NFL teams looking for a kicker in the future, have a look at my game tonight,” Kane wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Spurs were shocked in the second minute against the Saints as Virgil van Dijk headed home an early lead for the hosts, but a Dele Alli header drew the north London club level.
Kane then managed to give Spurs the lead with a header and Heung-Min Son, plus another Alli goal shared Kane’s blushes for his penalty miss.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be relieved to have earned the three points at a tricky ground and are now just a point behind fourth-placed rivals Arsenal.
Kane is expected to stay on penalty duties for the foreseeable future despite his miss and he has a good record from the spot this season, but is certain to receive some stick from his team-mates for the mistake against Southampton.
