Harry Kane posts Twitter message ahead of Tottenham v Burnley

By Dominic Toner

Harry Kane has wished Tottenham good luck ahead of their game against Burnley on Saturday.

The 23-year-old is currently sidelined through injury, but has shown his support for the team.

Spurs are currently second-placed in the Premier League table and will be looking to consolidate their position in the top four.

Mauricio Pochettino has made three changes to his side as Harry Winks, Kieran Trippier and Vincent Janssen come into the starting line-up.

Meanwhile, Heung-Min Son, Kyle Walker and Mouse Dembele have dropped out of the starting XI.

“Big week ahead. Hopefully we can start with a win today. Good luck lads,” Kane wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Spurs recorded a 2-1 victory over Burnley in the previous meeting this season, but will expect a tough encounter at Turf Moor.

Holland internaitonal Janssen has the opportunity to lead the line against the Clarets and has been preferred over Son.

Striker Janssen has found it difficult to make an impact at White Hart Lane since his summer arrival and fallen down the pecking order.

However, Kane’s absence through injury has presented him with the opportunity to impress and a goal against Burnley would boost his confidence.

In other Tottenham news, Pochettino has named the player that is too strong for him.
