Harry Kane’s 2026 destination now odds-on favourite after latest transfer reveal

Harry Kane could be on the move next summer despite his incredible form at Bayern Munich.

On the international stage, too, Kane has enjoyed a record-breaking season so far, with the striker showing no signs of slowing down.

The England international has netted an absurd 29 goals in just 24 games across all competitions for the Bundesliga champions, who look on course to challenge for the Champions League.

Bayern Munich want to keep Kane, but the prospect of a Premier League return in the latter years of his career may tempt the forward.

Tottenham are interested in a spectacular move to bring Kane back, two years after he left the club in a deal worth close to £100million.

Bookmakers have their say on Harry Kane’s future

Tottenham hold an intense interest in bringing Kane back to the Premier League, although a move would be difficult to achieve.

The striker is under contract at the Allianz Arena until 2027, and would likely warrant a fee in the range of what Bayern paid to sign him in 2023.

Tottenham fans will retain hope, however, that they can be reunited with the 32-year-old, who undoubtedly stands among their best-ever players.

Kane scored 280 goals across 435 appearances for the Lilywhites, but never managed to lift a trophy in his 14 years in North London.

And of course, there is the Premier League all-time goal-scoring record, which could still be claimed. Kane left Tottenham just 47 goals away from Alan Shearer‘s 260, and would likely need to return in the summer if he is to attempt to break it.

However, in recent days, odds have shortened on the England international’s chances of staying at Bayern beyond next summer.

One major bookmaker has now handed Kane a 1/4 chance of staying put next year, while odds on potential moves to Barcelona and Tottenham have drifted.

Kane refuses to rule out Tottenham return

Given Tottenham’s form and struggle for goals this season, Kane would be a welcome addition to Thomas Frank‘s front line.

The Dane was happy to say that he would welcome the Englishman back to the club in September, and it was not ruled out by the 32-year-old in October.

“I’m not sure,” he said. “I’m very happy here in Munich. It’s not something I’m thinking about. It’ll always be ‘we’ [with Tottenham] because I spent my whole life there.

“I’m a fan of them and will always watch them and see how they’re getting on. They will always be a part of my life for sure but as for now, I’m loving it here.”

Should the opportunity arise next summer, however, Kane’s true feelings will become clear.
