Harry Maguire and Man United star teammate backed to complete exits after development – pundit
Harry Maguire and Ronaldo could both leave Man United before the end of the transfer window.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about possible outgoings at Man United.
Ronaldo and Maguire were both dropped to the bench for Monday’s (22 August) 2-1 win over Liverpool at Old Trafford.

According to the Evening Standard‘s Nizaar Kinsella (24 August), Thomas Tuchel’s side could try to sign Maguire, 29, if they are unsuccessful in their bid for Leicester City’s Wesley Fofana.
Ronaldo’s future has been the subject of much speculation this summer though there have been a lack of concrete offers.
Kenny claims both players could still leave before the end of the window.
“Obviously Ronaldo wants to leave and Maguire has been linked with Chelsea,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“So there are possibilities there for them in the next week or so. Man United played unbelievably well against Liverpool.
“Liverpool have injuries and they have a bit of a hangover from last season, they are missing Mane and that’s massive for them.
“Man United had to have a performance, simple as. The two games they started with were embarrassing. Every player would hold their hands up and say that.
“That was the perfect game for them to go out there and change things and Ronaldo and Maguire weren’t there.
“So we will have to see what that means for their positions at the club now.”

Man United are next in action against Southampton on Saturday (27 August).
They currently sit 14th in the Premier League.
