Celtic fans on Twitter have let Chris Sutton know that they aren’t happy that Moussa Dembele was left out of his SPFL Team Of The Week.

Sutton revealed the team on his personal Twitter account, and fans couldn’t understand how the 21-year-old first teamer who scored and made a goal in the 3-2 win over Rangers on Sunday wasn’t selected.

Five Celtic players were selected for the side though, with goalkeeper Scott Bain, midfielders Olivier Ntcham, Scott Brown and Tom Rogic and forward Odsonne Edouard all featuring after the win at Ibrox, which all but clinched a seventh consecutive league title for the Parkhead side.

That wasn’t enough for some supporters though, who wanted to see the Frenchman named in the team, with one fan even suggesting that Dembele should have been chosen in place of the match-winner, Edouard.

Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Dembele’s omission:

Dembele’s goal against the Ibrox side was his fourth in his last three games and his 13th of the season. After a poor run of form and being dropped from the side in February he has turned his season around and will be a vital player for the Hoops as they aim to complete their second consecutive domestic treble.

In other Celtic news, Paul Merson has claimed that Brendan Rodgers would be a good fit for Arsenal next season
