Harvey Elliott sends two-word message to Newcastle ace Livramento amid transfer talk
Tino Livramento has taken to social media to reflect on a successful season with Newcastle United, prompting a response from Liverpool winger Harvey Elliott.
This was the right-back’s second campaign at St James’ Park following his move from Southampton, in which he reached a number of significant milestones.
The 22-year-old produced a number of consistently-impressive performances to help Newcastle end their long wait for silverware with the League Cup, while also qualifying for the Champions League.
Beyond that, Livramento also won his first senior England cap in the win over the Republic of Ireland in November, on the back of his form for the Magpies.

Tino Livramento speaks out on 2024/25 season
It is not just at international level where the form of Livramento has been attracting attention during the most recent campaign.
Earlier this season, Football Insider reported that Man City are interested in the Newcastle full-back, and that a change in the Magpies’ PSR situation could force them to reluctantly sell the 22-year-old.
For now, it remains to be seen if that will happen, and Livramento has been looking back on his success with Eddie Howe‘s side in the meantime.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (3 June), the Newcastle star posted a compilation of some of his best moments from the campaign, along with the caption: “24/25. A season full of blessings”.
In response, Liverpool winger Elliott, who has played with Livramento for England at youth level, paid tribute to the full-back by simply commenting: “So good”.
Newcastle United will want to keep Man City target
Football Insider Verdict
With the summer transfer window now open, it feels vital for the Magpies that they keep hold of Livramento despite interest from elsewhere.
If they want to become a side who consistently win trophies, Newcastle have to keep their best players, and the full-back is certainly one of them based on recent performances.
Indeed, this feels like a period where they need to add to the squad rather than reduce it as well, as Champions League football returns to their agenda for next season.
By contrast, there have been suggestions Elliott could leave Liverpool after falling down the pecking order under Arne Slot, having found game time limited in comparison to under Jurgen Klopp.
With that in mind, it will be intriguing to see where these two end up at the start of next season, given both could be big assets for any club in the Premier League.
