Harvey Elliott slaughtered by fans of all clubs after what he did to Tottenham star
Harvey Elliott has been slaughtered by fans of rival clubs after what he did in the closing stages of the Premier League clash between Liverpool and Tottenham.
Arne Slot’s side cruised to a 5-1 win, securing the Premier League title thanks to goals from Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah, and an own-goal from Destiny Udogie – all coming after Dominic Solanke opened the scoring.
However, it was Elliott who grabbed the attention of fans across the country after his attempts to wind up Richarlison late in the game.
The Liverpool star repeatedly tried to nutmeg his opponent before the Spurs man lost his head, leading to a shoving match between the pair.
He then held up “30” on his fingers, seemingly in a dig to the last time Richarlison’s former side Everton won a major trophy, the FA Cup in 1995.
While fans of the Reds were buzzing at his antics, they have not gone down so well with rivals.

Significant update on Harvey Elliott future at Anfield
Elliott has been a bit-part player at Anfield having failed to make his mark so far under Slot, leading to speculation about his future at the club.
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Premier League clubs are queuing to sign Elliott and have been keeping a close eye on his situation.
The England Under-21 international has started just four games across all competitions this season, despite his impressive displays when coming off the bench.
Despite the speculation, Football Insider revealed Elliott wants to stay at Liverpool, while the club still have high hopes for his future at Anfield.
Harvey Elliott slammed after Liverpool v Tottenham incident
The midfielder has always been a polarising figure within the game – loved by fans of the clubs he’s played for and less popular among rivals.
Going out of his way to antagonise Richarlison in the games’ closing stages has now left a sour taste in the mouths of Tottenham and Everton fans in particular.
Taking to social media following the game, fans expressed their frustration towards Elliott as he was labelled “arrogant” and “horrible”.
