Harvey Elliott’s priority revealed as Liverpool make exit decision
Harvey Elliott’s priority is to remain at Liverpool but is frustrated with his lack of action at the club, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider revealed on Monday (21 April) that the Reds will not look to sell Elliott, 22, this summer after interest in January from Brighton and Borussia Dortmund.
They view him as an all-important homegrown talent with huge potential – but the midfielder has scarcely been involved for Arne Slot’s side.
Sources say Elliott is frustrated with his lack of involvement but is not yet ready to push for a move away.
Elliott not yet considering pushing for Liverpool exit
Elliott has not started a single Premier League game since Slot arrived in the Anfield dugout, playing just 637 minutes of action across all competitions.
Slot has stuck with his tried and tested midfield with Ryan Gravenberch making a big step up since his countryman’s appointment.

Elliott can also play in wide areas but is behind more established options in the pecking order.
The England Under-21 international, who is yet to receive his first senior call-up, is under contract at Liverpool until June 2027.
He has made 142 total appearances for the Merseyside giants since joining from Fulham as a 16-year-old for a fee of almost £4.5million including bonuses.
Liverpool turn attention to contract talks with three stars
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed on Sunday (20 April) that Liverpool have turned their attention to new contract talks following agreements with Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.
The futures of Ibrahima Konate, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota will be the next to be decided at Anfield.
All three players have been linked with moves away from the club ahead of the summer transfer window but talks will be held over their respective futures.
