Harvey Vale sends Chelsea message after midfielder deal agreed
Harvey Vale has issued a statement to the Chelsea supporters after his transfer to Queens Park Rangers was confirmed.
Vale has joined the Championship side on a permanent contract, bringing an end to his lengthy spell at Stamford Bridge.
The attacking midfielder has been at Chelsea since joining the academy as an Under-13 and broke into the first team during the 2021-22 campaign against Brentford in the EFL Cup.
Vale has since gone on to make seven appearances for the Blues, two of which came this season in the Europa Conference League.
However, the England Under-20 international has found more success during loan periods at Bristol Rovers and Hull City.
Vale scored three goals and provided six assists during his 47 appearances for Bristol Rovers, while has previously scored 14 goals and provided 15 assists for Chelsa’s Under-21s side
Harvey Vale sends a heartfelt Chelsea message
Vale shared a message to fans via X by saying, “From joining as a 12-year-old boy to making my debut, the memories I have made will stay with me forever.
“I want to thank all the players I’ve had the privilege to play alongside, the staff members who have helped develop and support me, and most importantly, the fans who have followed and stood by me every step of the way.
“I will always be grateful for the opportunity to wear this badge and achieve something I’ve dreamed of since I was a child. Thank you @ChelseaFC.”
QPR fans will have to wait until next season to see Vale in the famous hoops as he is dealing with an injury that will rule him out until then.
