Hazard delivers Tottenham verdict on Lloris display v Man City
By Dominic Toner
Micky Hazard believes that Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is still a “top keeper” despite making two costly errors against Manchester City.
The 30-year-old made two uncharacteristic mistakes in Spurs’ 2-2 draw away to Man City on Saturday in the Premier League.
The hosts took a two-goal in the match and Leroy Sane opened the scoring when Lloris’ attempted clearance landed straight at the attacker to tap in an easy finish.
He then dropped a routine cross straight at Kevin De Bruyne’s feet and the Belgian scored to put Man City in the driving seat.
However, Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son managed to snatch a point for Spurs and they are now eight points adrift of leaders Chelsea.

Former Spurs player Hazard has praised Lloris despite his mistakes and feels he is still an incredible talent.
“Rare Lloris will make two mistakes, a top top keeper who will save us more times a lot more times than he will let us down,” Hazard wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Lloris is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, but made some simple errors which ultimately cost his side.
The France international has kept 10 clean sheets in 26 appearances this season across all competitions and is usually so reliable in goal.
He will be hoping to redeem himself in the next Premier League game against Sunderland, with Michel Vorm expected to replace him in the FA Cup tie with Wycombe before then.
