Hazard posts sarcastic verdict on two main incidents of Tottenham v Arsenal clash

By Dominic Toner

Micky Hazard has posted a sarcastic message on Twitter following Tottenham’s away draw against Arsenal on Sunday.

Spurs maintained their unbeaten start in the Premier League with a point and there was controversy surrounding both goals in the 1-1 draw.

Arsenal took the lead in the first-half through a Kevin Wimmer own goal, when he headed past goalkeeper Hugo Lloris from a free-kick.

Attacker Alexis Sanchez appeared to be in an offside position from the free-kick and Spurs feel his presence caused the defender to attempt a clearance.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side did manage to level the score in the second-half and Harry Kane scored on his return to the side, but the Gunners feel that Mousa Dembele went down too easy in the box.

Spurs legend Hazard has sent a sarcastic message to the rivals Arsenal after the incidents.

“Guys it wasn’t a penalty he accidentally tripped him over, come guys be reasonable, and they were accidentally offside too on their goal,” Hazard wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Spurs are currently fifth-placed in the Premier League and five points adrift of league leaders Liverpool.

Pochettino’s side are the only unbeaten side in the division after the opening 11 games and currently have the best defensive record, conceding just six goals in that time.
