Micky Hazard has stated that he is “thrilled” that Harry Kane has signed a new contract with Tottenham.
The club confirmed on its official website on Thursday morning that the 23-year-old striker has penned a new contract until 2022.
Kane has been rewarded for his fine form for the north London club in recent seasons, which has also seen him become an established England international.
Former Spurs midfielder Hazard, who represented the club for nine years over two different spells, had this to say on his personal Twitter account after Kane signed the new deal.

Kane has become one of the hottest properties in the Premier League and that was proven last season when he claimed the golden boot for scoring 25 goals as his side finished in a Champions League spot.
In total, Kane has scored 70 goals in 137 appearances for Tottenham and he has continued that form this season by netting five goals in eight league games.
Furthermore, for England he has scored five goals in 17 appearances, but he did suffer a disappointing Euro 2016 campaign.
The highly-rated forward failed to score during the tournament as Roy Hodgon’s side were knocked out by minnows Iceland.
Nonetheless, this season he has helped Mauricio Pochettino’s team to fifth place in the league table, four points behind leaders Chelsea.
