Eden Hazard shares how Chelsea will create trouble for Tottenham players
By Harry Sykes
Eden Hazard has revealed to Sky Sports that Chelsea will take advantage of the fixture list to “create a bit of trouble” in the minds of Tottenham players.
The west London club were given a fright in their seemingly inexorable march to the Premier League title when their advantage was reduced to four points after a 2-0 defeat at Manchester United in their last outing in the competition.
But Chelsea could be seven points clear again by Tuesday night if they beat Southampton at Stamford Bridge, which is scheduled 24 hours before Tottenham play Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Hazard was dropped to the substitute’s bench at the weekend for Chelsea’s 4-2 FA Cup semi-final triumph against Spurs at Wembley.
But he was introduced to the action at 2-2 and demonstrated his calibre with the pivotal third goal to lay the platform for the win that keeps Chelsea on course for a league and cup double in Antonio Conte’s first season as manager.

“We lost to Manchester United but we have more confidence,” Hazard said to Sky Sports, as quoted by the broadcaster’s website. “We beat Tottenham and we play before them, so perhaps we can create a bit of trouble in their minds.
“They are strong and we are strong, so it will be a good fight until the end.”
Hazard is expected to start at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night as Chelsea aim to get their title bid back on track.
In other Tottenham news, the club have sensationally terminated the contract of one of their emerging stars.
