Ian Wright has revealed his admiration for fit-again Mousa Dembele ahead of Saturday’s north London derby.
The Arsenal legend believes Dembele is so good that he is a “frightening” proposition for his former club.
Spurs go into the lunchtime clash at White Hart Lane as favourites following a run of six consecutive Premier League wins that was only halted by the 1-0 midweek defeat to West Ham.
By contrast, Arsenal have only won two of their last eight league matches and have lost their last two, against Swansea and Manchester United.
Dembele has been named in the Tottenham team after missing three matches with a groin injury, while Dele Alli also returns to the starting X1 after being on the substitute’s bench against West Ham.
Speaking to BT Sport in the build-up to the clash at White Hart Lane, Wright expressed his fears on behalf of his former club.
“Dembele frightens me, man,” said the former striker.
In other Tottenham news, Mauricio Pochettino has expressed his concern that Harry Kane is being inhibited by the face mask he is wearing due to his broken nose.
