‘He should be starting 99% of games’ – Tottenham fans excited by starter after ‘best game’ yet vs PSG

Tottenham supporters were full of praise for Randal Kolo Muani after he notched his first goals for the club in their 5-3 defeat to PSG on 26 November.

Spurs were unlucky to lose to PSG in the Champions League after an intense repeat of the UEFA Super Cup last summer.

In a mixed game where the north London outfit were much improved offensively, players like Pape Sarr let Tottenham down at the back, allowing Luis Enrique’s side to tuck away golden opportunities.

With Thomas Frank still under pressure at Spurs, the manager and the fans would’ve been thrilled by Kolo Muani‘s dazzling display.

Playing his parent club at the familiar Parc des Princes, it was written for the Frenchman to step up and lead the line expertly for the Lilywhites.

The 26-year-old was lethal in front of goal for Frank, scoring two goals with both his shots on goal, amassing an expected goals of 0.69xG.

Conversely, the ex-Juventus man was crafty in his creative wizardry, delivering two key passes and creating one big chance, which was converted by strike partner Richarlison in the 35th minute.

Considering the number 39 had gone nine matches prior to the game without a goal for Spurs, the stunning performance captured what the forward may have to offer in the coming months.

The brace will certainly give Kolo Muani a much needed boost and Tottenham fans were quick to applaud him post-match.

One Spurs supporter said: “[Lucas] Bergvall and Kolo Muani should be starting 99% of games. They’re too good not to.” with another adding: “Best game I’ve seen Kolo Muani play for us.”
