Hernandez will blow Leeds fans away with stunning prediction after new deal sealed
Leeds United winger Pablo Hernandez has put pen to paper on a new two-year extension at the club which will see him remain at Elland Road until 2020 and has boldly predicted that the Whites can make it into the Premier League.
Speaking after the club officially announced that the 33-year-old had signed a new deal, the Spaniard went to the press where according to BBC broadcaster Adam Pope on Twitter, the player delivered his top-flight forecast: “Hernandez envisages promotion with
#lufc within his new contract. He wants to leave the club in the PL. He has faith in Paul Heckingbottom and believes in the club.”

There were fears that the 33-year-old Spaniard would be off in the summer after he was linked with a move to Birmingham City where he would have reunited with ex-Leeds boss Gary Monk.
Football Insider verdict:
Hernandez is saying all the right things and unless he felt the club were capable of delivering such a feat, it’s unlikely he would have stayed, particularly after admitting he had options elsewhere. One of Leeds’ most important players, he was always going to say that he has faith in the manager as anything against the club would have caused controversy. If managed correctly there is a feeling that Andrea Radrizzani wants to build something special at Elland Road and has every intention of delivering that. Hernandez’s contract signing today could be just the tip of the iceberg in terms of things to come.
