Hernandez and Wood omitted: Best combined Leeds and Norwich XI
COMMENT By Will Butcher
Leeds and Norwich are set to do battle in the fourth round of the EFL Cup tonight at Elland Road, with a place in the quarter finals up for grabs.
Both Garry Monk and Alex Neil are expected to field their strongest possible sides, despite both clubs placing precedent on their Championship campaigns.
Norwich have plucked a lot Leeds’ star players during their recent Premiership era, with the likes of Jonny Howson, Robert Snodgrass, Luciano Becchio and Bradley Johnson all moving to Carrow Road from Leeds.
But Leeds have their own ex-Norwich player in goalkeeper Rob Green, who is expected to start for the Yorkshire giants on Tuesday night.
As the kick off between the two Championship teams edges closer, Football Insider has selected the best possible combined team of players from the two clubs.

Former Canary, Green, would start over Michael McGovern and John Ruddy. Leeds stars Luke Ayling and Pontus Jansson would join him in defence after impressive starts to life in Yorkshire.
Portuguese Ivo Pinto has struggled since his move to England, so Ayling would line up on the right alongside former Wolfsburg stopper Timm Klose, with Euro 2016 star Martin Olsson on the left.
Former Leeds academy product and captain Howson would line up alongside Leeds’ current captain Bridcutt, while Ireland playmaker Wes Hoolahan would start in front of them.
The former Blackpool man has dazzled Championship defences this season, scoring twice and adding a further four in assists and would keep out one-time Spain international Pablo Hernandez.
Set-piece specialist Robbie Brady would play on the left of a dangerous attacking midfield, with speed merchant Hadi Sacko on the right.
Controversial striker Cameron Jerome, who is not held in high regard by Leeds fans after an altercation with former defender Giuseppe Bellusci, would start over Leeds’ top scorer Chris Wood.
