‘He’s finished’ – Arsenal fans saying same thing about Gabriel Jesus after display in 2-0 loss to West Ham

Plenty of Arsenal fans have called for Gabriel Jesus to be replaced as their main striker after his “terrible” outing against West Ham United on Thursday night (28 December).

The Gunners were shocked at home against David Moyes’ side in a 2-0 defeat at the Emirates which put a huge dent in their title hopes.

Tomas Soucek bagged his eighth goal of the season in the early stages to give the Hammers the lead and a thumping header from former Arsenal man Konstantinos Mavropanos was the final nail in their coffin.

Jesus has often been criticised for his lack of goals and cutting edge having notched 18 goals across 53 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal since his £45million move from Man City in the summer of 2022.

These complaints reared their head once again after he missed multiple golden opportunities to give his side the lead – most notably a headed chance in the 66th minute in front of an open goal.

This season, he has managed just three goals in the Premier League and fans consider this far too low for their main man up top if they want to clinch their first title in 20 years.

In light of Jesus’ latest goalless outing, many supporters have taken to social media and are desperate for the Gunners to sign someone more prolific.
