Club legend Kenny Dalglish has heaped praise on Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp revealing that he believes the manager has “everything” and was “cloned” for this role.
In an interview with the Liverpool Echo, the former manager revealed his admiration for the job Klopp was doing and has done at the Liverpool.
The Reds icon joked that “you’d almost think that Jurgen has been cloned to be Liverpool manager.
“He’s got everything that everybody had who has been successful at the club previously,” said Dalglish before confidently making a prediction.
“I think in years to come, whenever he decides he is too old to manage, there’ll be a few pieces of silverware sat in the trophy room.”
The 50-year-old German manager has been in charge of Liverpool since October 2015, succeeding Brendan Rodgers in the role.
Under Klopp’s guidance Champions League football has returned to Anfield this season, with the Reds previously not having played a Champions League tie since 2014.
The Reds finished fourth one point above Arsenal to enter the qualification rounds of the Champions League.
Klopp then successfully guided his side through qualification defeating Hoffenheim 6-3 on aggregate to make it to the group stage of the tournament.
Liverpool currently sit top of their Champions League group after four games played with eight points and having already created a memorable moment in the contest this season, having defeated Maribor 7-0.
The Reds in comparison have had mixed fortunes in the league this season, they’ve dropped points to Watford and were hammered by Tottenham 4-1, but then they’ve also inflicted heavy defeats on Arsenal and West Ham.
Liverpool are next in league action against 13th placed Southampton on Saturday.
