Darren Bent is convinced Helder Costa has the talent to dazzle for Leeds United in the Premier League next season.
The former Tottenham and England striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, insists the 26-year-old is “Premier League pedigree” despite just one season in the top-flight.
Having already agreed an obligatory purchase clause with Wolves last summer, Leeds confirmed this week that the Portuguese winger had turned his loan permanent this week.

Bent believes the £16million fee might look high considering his hit-and-miss form this season but believes he will show his best if the Whites are promoted.
Bent told Football Insider: “It took him ages to get himself into the team and up to speed but listen, he is a good player and he’s got Premier League pedigree, he’s been there before and knows what to do.
“I guess at times you know him so the manager’s not got to worry about that and that aspect, he knows him, knows what he’s all about.
“We know maybe around the dressing room he’s a good guy, people like him but £16million you think it is a lot but is it really when you think about the money some people go through?
“They may have expected more but when they get promoted I think you’ll see the best of him. He has got ability, he can go past people and he’s got two good feet. I think it could be money well spent.”
Costa has scored five goals and chipped in with a further seven assists for Leeds this season.
He played 25 times in the Premier League for Wolves last season, with 16 top-flight starts under his belt.
