He's Proved Me Wrong - Exclusive: Top pundit wowed by Spurs player better than Kane & Son
Paul Robinson has heaped praise on Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and insisted he’s been even better than Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min this term.
The former White Hart Lane number one, speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, labelled the 25-year-old “the best player all season” despite being initially underwhelmed by his arrival.

“I was underwhelmed by his signing but he has been the outstanding player of the season so far.
“He sits in front of the defence and pulls the strings without being overly flamboyant. He does not make you get off your seat but he works so hard and keeps those around him in check.
“I think he has been a really, really astute signing. He just keeps things simple, rotates the play and breaks up play.
“He was the best player on Saturday and has been the best player all season.”
