Nicolas Jackson will be eager to impress during his loan spell at Bayern Munich after a new revelation emerged.
Jackson joined Bayern Munich on loan from Chelsea after falling down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
Enzo Maresca signed Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, leaving the Senegalese international with no choice but to exit the club.
Jackson could face Chelsea for Bayern Munich in the Champions League, as the Blues face the German club on the first matchday of the competition.
Bayern Munich reveal transfer stance on Nicolas Jackson
Bayern Munich would have to purchase Jackson for £56.3million if the 24-year-old makes a certain number of appearances this season.
However, as per the Daily Mail, [17 September], the Bundesliga side may look at a permanent deal even if he does not trigger the option to buy in the loan agreement.
“Even if Jackson does not reach the appearance total required to trigger his £56.3m obligation, Bayern are prepared to discuss signing him permanently next summer if he impresses,” the Daily Mail reported.
Jackson may struggle for game time this season with Harry Kane the number one striker at the club, but Vincent Kompany will be hoping he could become a fine impact sub.

Jackson looks to have no future at Chelsea, no matter how well he does in his loan spell at Bayern Munich.
The Blues will probably look to sell the striker next summer, and should be delighted at potentially getting a substantial amount for a player who has proven not to be a ruthless finisher.

Potentially coming up against his parent club in the Champions League, Maresca has admitted Bayern Munich have an advantage with Jackson in their ranks.
Maresca though has moved on without Jackson and Chelsea will want to prove that against Bayern Munich at the Allianz.
