How to watch Celtic vs Livingston in Scottish Premiership: TV channel and kick-off time

Celtic will take on Livingston as they look to strengthen their bid for the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday night.

Goals from new signing Junior Adamu and Sebastian Tounekti saw Celtic beat Dundee FC 2-1 in the Scottish Cup on Saturday.

The Bhoys have hit a strong spot of form at the best possible time, with the race for the Scottish Premiership well and truly on.

Hearts beat Hibernian 1-0 on Tuesday to re-extend their lead at the top to six points, but Derek McInnes‘ side have shown signs of weakness in previous weeks.

Lawrence Shankland is not expected to return until March, and the Jam Tarts are clearly missing their captain’s presence.

How to watch Celtic vs Livingston

Celtic fans may be able to see new signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in action for the first time on Wednesday night.

The midfielder has been training with Premier League leaders Arsenal over the past few months, after he left Besiktas on a free transfer.

Celtic have taken the opportunity to sign him up on a free transfer, however, and Oxlade-Chamberlain could be among several new faces against Livingston.

Adamu impressed on debut, and Tomas Cvancara has looked a strong addition to Martin O’Neill‘s front line as well.

Joel Mvuka was another deadline day arrival and will be hoping to make his full debut on Wednesday, while loan signing from Brentford, Benjamin Arthur, could also be involved.

Celtic’s clash with Livingston will kick off at 19:45 GMT and will not be available on British Television.

Fans hoping not to miss the action can do so by watching live on Celtic TV, which is available with a subscription.

Celtic boast staggering record vs Livingston

Celtic have not lost to Livingston since September 2021, when Andrew Shinnie scored the only goal at Home of the Set Fare Arena.

Save for a draw between the sides one month after that result, the Bhoys have won 10 consecutive games against Wednesday’s opponents.

Livingston 0-3 Celtic23-24

O’Neill will hope to make that 11, and form would suggest that the Scottish Premiership champions should not have a major problem doing so.

Livingston are without a win in any competition since August, and sit rock bottom of the league table.
