Huge Arsenal blow as £40million target holds talks with mega-rich club - report

Leading Arsenal target Alvaro Morata is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain, according to a French report.
The Gunners are keen on adding Morata to their squad this summer but he is in talks with French champions about a move to Parc des Princes.
The Spanish striker’s former club Real Madrid have a £23-million buy-back option in his current deal at Juventus and it is said that they will activate it before immediately selling him on.
L’Equipe claim that PSG officials have had meetings with the agent of Morata in the past week as they look to clinch a deal for the forward with Real keen to receive over £40million.
PSG’s sporting director Olivier Letang reportedly met with Morata’s agent Juanma Lopez on Wednesday evening for the second time in the last ten days as they look to beat Arsenal to his signature.

Arsene Wenger is in the market for an A-list striker this summer after learning that Danny Welbeck will miss most of next season with a knee injury and with doubts over the future of Theo Walcott.
Morata has scored on 27 occasions in 93 appearances since joining Juventus two years ago.
Only seven of his goals this season came in the Serie A as Juventus clinched the league title by nine points. In the Champions League, he only found the net twice.
The 23-year old has been included in the Spain squad for the European Championships in France next month and is expected to lead the team;s line in their opening game against the Czech Republic on Monday 13 June 2016.
He is currently in Austria with his Spanish teammates where they’ll take on Bosnia and South Korea. So far for Spain, he has got eight senior caps to his name while scoring on one occasion in a 1-0 victory over Ukraine in March 2015.
