Frank McAvennie is over the moon Celtic defender Christopher Jullien is in contention to face Sparta Prague tonight.
The Parkhead legend, speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, claimed it will be a “huge boost” to have the 27-year-old return from injury after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
A back injury has kept Jullien sidelined since September and the Hoops have struggled in his absence, winning only two of their last eight games in all competitions.

Neil Lennon confirmed that the French centre-half is “in contention to start” tonight’s Europa League clash with Sparta Prague.
The loan signing of Shane Duffy has so far failed to pay dividends and holding midfielder Nir Bitton has been selected ahead of the Republic of Ireland international for the last two Scottish Premiership fixtures.
When asked by Football Insider for his thoughts on the imminent return of Jullien, McAvennie said: “Bitton has done great but he is not a centre-half.
“It has shown because he ball watches.
“The quicker Jullien comes back the better.
“Everyone was wishing we signed someone, saying Jullien and Ajer were not a good partnership well, careful what you wish for.
“It will be a huge boost to have him back so long as he is fit enough. He has been out for a while now.
“It is the weekend that is important so just give him a run out. ”
