Emerson Hyndman is in a race against time bid to be fit for Rangers’ Scottish Premiership clash against Partick Thistle on Sunday.
Manager Pedro Caixinha revealed at his weekly media briefing that the playmaker is struggling due to injury.
The official Rangers Twitter account quoted Caixinha as saying that “Emerson has not trained this week” to cast his involvement into doubt.
PC: I hope the boys can give a good reaction on Sunday. Emerson has not trained this week.

Rangers travel to sixth-placed Partick aiming to get back to winning ways after last weekend’s humiliating home league defeat at the hands of Celtic.
The 5-1 hammering at Ibrox virtually ended Caixinha’s sides hopes of overhauling Aberdeen and finishing the league season second beyond champions Celtic.

The potential absence of playmaker Hyndman on Sunday at Partick would be a major blow to Rangers given the impact he has made since joining on loan from Bournemouth in the January transfer window.
The USA international has been a mainstay of the team, scoring four goals and providing two assists from 17 matches for the club.
In other Rangers transfer news, Caixinha has made emphatic decisions on four players ahead of the summer window.
