Huge Tottenham boost as key player recovers in time to face Arsenal
By Harry Sykes
Mousa Dembele has recovered from injury to take his place in the Tottenham squad for their Premier League showdown against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
Images of the home team clambering off the team coach and walking into the White Hart Lane dressing room from broadcaster Sky Sports 1 showed Dembele alongside the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli.
This means that the Belgium international has been passed fit to be in the matchday 18, although does not guarantee he will be in the starting XI.
Nevertheless, the availability of the central midfielder will be a huge boost for what is such a key match in Spurs’ title challenge.
Tottenham fans took to Twitter to air their concerns after the club confirmed on Friday that Dembele was an injury doubt for the final north London derby at White Hart Lane.

The update has understandably brought a sense of fear among the Tottenham fan base on social media with many keen to see their team line-up at full strength for such an important clash.
Dembele has established a formidable central midfield partnership with Victor Wanyama this season that has been the bedrock of the club’s title bid.
The Belgian has started 23 of Spurs’ 33 league matches this season and is regarded as a nailed-on starter when he is fully fit.
In other Tottenham news, Spurs have been dealt a blow with this defender unlikely to be available again this season.
