‘Huge’ update on Casemiro quitting Man United – sources
Casemiro’s only option for a Man United exit this summer is a move to the Saudi Pro League, sources have told Football Insider.
United are ready to let the 32-year-old leave Old Trafford this summer in order to get his big wages off the books.
However, sources at the club say Casemiro is in “no rush” to make a decision on leaving the club as he is still signed to a long-term contract – which expires in June 2026.
It is believed the five-time Champions League winner will need to be presented with a “huge” offer if he is to quit.
Saudi Pro League clubs are interested but their transfer window does not open until 17 June.
Casemiro in ‘no rush’ to agree Man United exit
Sources say negotiations could speed up after that date as the emerging football powerhouse vies to add another big name to their project.
Casemiro was the subject of much criticism for his performances in the 2023-24 campaign.
He made 31 starts in 32 total appearances for United last term, notching five goals and three assists.

The 75-cap star was omitted from Brazil’s squad for the Copa America tournament in the United States.
Casemiro has made 83 appearances across two seasons at United, winning the FA Cup and League Cup.
In other news, Man United plan to accept offers for three more first-XI starters.
