Hutton is stunned Rangers have agreed Fabio Silva deal – ‘I can’t believe it’
A 10-goal haul for Fabio Silva would be an “unbelievable” return during his half-season loan at Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Gers and Tottenham defender Alan Hutton admitted he was shocked to see the Wolves man move to Ibrox and claimed fans will be excited by the signing.
The £35million man has a lot to prove after underwhelming at Molineux with just five goals and six assists across 72 appearances for the Premier League side.

However, he has moved to Glasgow with huge expectations from the fans after becoming Philippe Clement’s first signing as the boss.
Hutton was hopeful that the 21-year-old’s presence at the club would also take some of the pressure off of goal machine Abdallah Sima for the remainder of the campaign.
“It was a surprise for me when I first heard it and realised what was going on,” he told Football Insider.
“He was signed by Wolves for £35million, so he’s definitely got something.
“I understand his career has stalled a little bit. He’s a guy that will excite the fans.
“I think if he’s got half a season, and with the amount of games that Rangers will be playing, you’re looking for 10 goals at least.

“It’s difficult to put a number on it but that would be an unbelievable return for him.
“It would take that weight off of Sima. He’s searching for a little bit of confidence.”
