Hutton issues ‘huge’ Connor Goldson claim after Rangers source’s update
Alan Hutton has insisted losing Connor Goldson to injury is a “huge blow” for Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers right-back said the team risks falling apart in Goldson’s absence.
The 29-year-old picked up a thigh strain whilst stretching to make a crucial interception against Liverpool last week (12 October).

The defender was spotted leaving Ibrox on crutches and there were concerns that he would be facing months on the sidelines.
But on Saturday (15 October), sources told this site that the centre-back is likely to be out for weeks rather than months.
As quoted by the Sun (14 October), captain James Tavernier said Goldson will be a “big miss” but insisted the Ibrox veteran will still be around the changing room “handing out his voice”.
Hutton insisted the Bears will miss the defender, regardless of how long he is sidelined.
“It is a huge blow there is no getting away from that,” he told Football Insider.
“He is definitely a leader within the camp. He will still do that off the pitch. On it, you can hear him organising the back four, the boys in front of him.
“You could see how much of a loss he was in the Liverpool game. When he was not there it kind of fell apart towards the end of the game. He is a huge miss.“

Goldson was not included in the matchday squad for the Light Blues’ 2-1 win over Motherwell on Sunday (16 October).
The defender has already made 17 appearances for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side across all competitions this season.
In other news, Hutton has suggested Rangers victims of major injustice as Alfredo Morelos footage analysed.
