Hutton makes 'boyhood team' claim after offer for Rangers star Kamara revealed
Alan Hutton insists transfer speculation regarding Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara isn’t going away any time soon.
The former Gers defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to the latest on the midfielder’s future.
Football Insider revealed today Arsenal made a move for Kamara during the recently-shut window.
He was shortlisted as a potential target and Ibrox sources have updated to Football Insider to reveal he is set to remain on their radar.
The midfielder’s Gers deal expires in the summer of 2023.
Steven Gerrard claimed on 6 August “there’s a real strong, good offer on the table for Glen”.

As quoted by The Scotsman (7 September) Kamara claimed he is “aware” of interest in his services from other clubs.
Hutton insists Kamara has been incredibly professional as he continues to be linked with a move away from Rangers
“It’s always difficult,” Hutton told Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge.
“Especially when you are trying to play for Rangers and your national side while there is all this speculation.
“But he’s being professional and he’s not really spoken about it. While doing that he’s continued to play at a high level.
“That’s all you can ask for so he’s done really well. Look, after playing as well as he’s played, there is going to be speculation.
“He was bought for £50,000. He’s been the steal of the century. You can understand if Arsenal do come in for him, they are his boyhood team.
“I think he’s handled it really well. He’s continued to work hard and he’s only going to get better which means this isn’t going away.“
