Ian Taylor aimed a hilarious dig at Aston Villa flop Ross McCormack prior to the club’s 2-0 win at Rotherham in early March.
Club legend Taylor stated that his “gates wouldn’t open” when he informed actor Olivier Phelps as to why he was running late for the Championship encounter.
The duo were set to watch the game from the stands with the away supporters as the club’s official YouTube account filmed their every move.
Taylor’s comments were directed at the time McCormack claimed that he couldn’t turn up to training because his gates were faulty.
Here was Taylor on that away trip with his sly dig at the £12million signing coming at the start of the clip.

“Sorry, I’m late, gates wouldn’t open,” Taylor said ahead of his away trip to Rotherham.
Since that infamous moment regarding McCormack and his gates, he has since moved out on loan to rivals Nottingham Forest.
Steve Bruce opted to loan out the troubled striker in January after that incident and a poor debut campaign at Villa Park.
Bruce’s predecessor, Roberto Di Matteo purchased the Scotsman for £12million from Fulham last summer but he scored only three goals during his time at the club.
McCormack struggled for form, consistency and fitness in the Midlands and has found the back of the net on only one occasion in seven matches since moving to the City ground.
